NO PAROLONI

No Paroloni is a private community built for people who want to understand AI by actually building with it — not by watching tutorials or reading threads. It's a space where curiosity beats credentials, and where asking "dumb" questions is the whole point.

What Was Broken
A flood of promotional content and AI hype made it impossible to separate signal from noise. Marketing blurred the lines between web apps, progressive web apps, and native apps — making it hard for non-technical people to understand what building with AI actually meant.

What I Bet On
That people learn better when they feel safe admitting they don't know something. We built a small, private community where curiosity beats performance — no jargon, no flexing, just honest conversation about what it actually takes to build.
“For the first time, I actually built something from scratch instead of just reading about it.”
— No Paroloni member
What Happened
A tight community of ~50 active members who share real progress, ask real questions, and hold each other accountable without the noise of public platforms.

The Story
V1 — June 2025
It started as a personal forum with three sections: explore projects, read articles, hang out in the piazza. Built on Base44. The engagement was low — people read, appreciated the step-by-step projects, but rarely commented. The piazza was quiet. I had built something for myself without really testing if others wanted it.
V2 — November 2025
Summer happened. The project faded. Then in November I got serious about learning real tool stacks. I rebuilt everything using Google AI Studio, Supabase, and Gemini — staying inside one environment to avoid fragmentation. It took a month to navigate it all, especially as it kept updating and changing names. No more forum structure. Now everyone posts standardized step-by-step guides that update as you go. Made a mistake? You don’t go back and fix it — you add a new step. There’s a support section. An Instagram page that never really took off. And ~50 people who found it through word of mouth. Next: connect Gemini to summarize what the community has learned.
